Community Groups

We believe the Christian life was not meant to be lived alone. One of the ways we live that out is through Community Groups. This is designed for each of us to be known and do life together. Being rooted in community is vital to our faith.

Gathering

Each week, we gather around the story of the gospel—the story of what Jesus has done for us. We hear the Bible preached, we sing, we receive communion, and we spend time together in community, knowing that when the church gathers, the gospel goes forth. Join us on Sunday at 9 or 10:30am on the Westside of Vancouver.

We believe God forms and shapes His people through His word. Because of this, NGC is fully convinced of the necessity for expositional preaching in the local church. Each Sunday, our goal is straightforward: the main point of the biblical text becomes the main point of the sermon. This approach ensures that God's voice, not ours, remains central to our growth as a church community.
We sing to glorify God, to encourage each other, and to rehearse the story of the gospel together. Every week, you’ll hear songs that will do just that. Our bands are made up of the people of NGC, whose desire is to help us worship through song together.
When the gospel is revealed to us (through the preaching of the Bible), our job is to respond. At the end of every gathering, we begin a week-long response to God’s Word through communion, singing, giving, and prayer.
We know that one of the primary means God uses to grow is our relationships with each other. That’s why you’ll find a bunch of ministries, groups, and a full calendar to engage.
